    2001: A Space Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke First UK edition, first impression (Hutchinson, 1968). Offered with an envelope signed and inscribed by the author loosely laid in. Publisher's original black cloth with silver lettering to spine and grey endpapers and paste-downs. A near fine copy with a slight spine slant and spotting to top edge, in a near fine dust jacket with a little lifting to laminate at top of upper panel hinge and a hint of trivial edge wear in places. An excellent copy.

    Against the Fall of Night First edition, first impression (Gnome Press, 1953). Publisher's original teal boards with red lettering to spine. A near fine copy with a few marks to top edge and some rubbing here and there to spine tips and corners; free from names or inscriptions. The original pictorial dust jacket by Frank Kelly Frease is beautifully preserved with very minor traces of chipping to spine foot and a little rubbing here and there to extremities with very faint marking in places to lower panel. A beautiful, near fine copy.
