The original, first issue George Salter jacket with $2.50 price to front flap has a touch of toning to spine panel, as is common, with light and occasional rubbing to extremities and a small closed tear to foot of upper joint. An excellent, near fine or better copy of a rare title, especially in superior condition.

Rare thus. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy: First edition, first impression (Hodder and Stoughton, 1974). Double-signed by the author to an adhesive bookplate loosely laid in. Four square and small areas of adhesive residue to the front endpaper caused by the removal of a bookplate; very minor knock to spine head with some of the usual fading to top-stain. The original and unclipped dust jacket has some rubbing to corners and extremities; spine ends a little abraded, mainly at head; fading to spine panel, as is common. The Honourable Schoolboy: First edition, first impression (Hodder and Stoughton, 1977). Signed by the author to a bookplate loosely laid in. A couple of minor bumps to top corner of upper and lower boards and to top edge of lower board; hint of pushing to spine head. The original and unclipped dust jacket has a little rubbing to edges with some abrasion to spine head; a touch of fading to spine panel.
