By Stephen King
First English edition, first impression (New English Library, 1974).
The author’s first published novel. Dust jacket painting by Raymond Feibush.
One of an initial print run of between 600 to 1,000 copies, of which it is likely that considerably fewer still remain in circulation and in good condition. Originally published in the United States about a month earlier with a much larger print run consisting of around 30,000 copies.
Publisher’s original purple cloth with gilt lettering to spine and upper board. Free from any inscriptions with just a touch of trivial rubbing to bottom edge of boards and toning to edges of text block, fine otherwise in a near fine, price-clipped dust jacket with very minor traces of rubbing to spine tips and corners and a very small closed tear to bottom edge of upper panel.
By Martin Amis
First Edition, First Impression (Jonathan Cape, 1978). Previous owners inscription to front endpaper; a little foxing to edges with slight compression to spine tips. Original, unclipped dust jacket has a crease to top of front panel of dust jacket and some general wear to the top. An excellent copy overall of the author's third novel.
Consider Her Ways & Others
By John Wyndham
First Edition, First Impression (Michael Joseph, 1961). Toning to edges; light off-setting to front and rear endpapers; minor compression to spine tips. Original and unclipped dust jacket has small closed tears to bottom and top edges of front panel and top edge of rear panel with a couple of discreet tape repairs to verso; light rubbing to extremities.
The Black Prince
By Iris Murdoch
First Edition and First Impression (Chatto & Windus, 1973). Light bumping to spine tips; spine slightly rolled. Original and unclipped dust jacket has a little wear to spine tips and extremities with hints of scuffing to rear panel. A near fine example.

UK First Edition, First Printing (New English Library, 1976). Signed and inscribed by the author to the the title page: 'For Dave, Remember: they only come out at night. Stephen King 5/14/83'. Very rare title, of which signed and inscribed copies in such fine condition are very scarce. Fine in a fine dust jacket.
