Near fine with previous owner’s inscription to front endpaper; edges lightly foxed. Original and unclipped dust jacket is fine with minimal rubbing to corners. A really excellent copy of the author’s second novel.

UK First Edition, First Printing (The Crime Club, 1946). The first novel in four years to feature Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. Published in paperback in the United States in 1954 under the title 'Murder After Hours'. Some soiling to top of text-block; moderate bumping to board corners. Original, price-clipped dust jacket has some loss to front panel and tips of spine panel and a tear to bottom of fore-edge; rubbing and wear to fore-edge and hinges; spine panel faded. A very good and rare copy in the dust jacket, signed by the author to front endpaper.

First Edition, First Impression (Chatto & Windus, 1966). Signed by the author to the title page. Inscription to front endpaper; edges toned; minor bumping to spine tips. Original and unclipped dust jacket has a closed tear to bottom edge of front panel and to top edge of rear; some creasing to front flap with one crease to rear flap. Small chip to top of spine panel; a little wear to extremities. A very good copy of the author’s tenth novel, which is hard to find with her signature.
