By Frank Herbert
First UK edition, first impression (Gollancz, 1966).
Publisher’s original dark grey cloth with lettering to spine in gilt. Boards very nice and clean and free from bumping and marks; previous owner bookplate to front paste-down with their name to front endpaper; some browning to margins of p 154 & 155 from a bookmark, but contents are clean otherwise and free from foxing. The original and unclipped dust jacket comes complete with the rare wraparound band; a few tears to the edges of the lower panel and top of upper panel hinge with tape repairs to verso; edges a little abraded here and there.
A very good copy indeed of what is widely considered to be one of the greatest and most influential science fiction novels ever written.
