Heaven & Hell
By Aldous Huxley
First Edition, First Impression (Chatto & Windus, 1956). A sequel to 'The Doors of Perception' published in 1954. Spine ends and board corners bumped; a little damp staining to top edge of upper and lower boards; very faint offsetting to front and rear endpapers; small stamp to rear pastedown. Original and unclipped dust jacket has some loss to spine tips and to corners; a few nicks to top edge of front and rear panels; pink stain to verso; fore-edge and hinges rubbed; edge wear to top.
Prince Caspian: The Return to Narnia
By C. S. Lewis
First edition, first impression (Geoffrey Bles Ltd, 1951). A little pushing to spine tips with a touch of light marking here and there to boards. Small area of extremely faint spotting to front endpaper and to fore-edge of final few pages, otherwise contents beautiful and clean throughout with no writing or inscriptions. Mild rubbing to the extremities of the original and unclipped dust jacket with a few closed tears to the front panel and a small nick to foot of rear panel; mild soiling to rear panel, nice, clean and bright otherwise. A very good example indeed of the second book in 'The Chronicles of Narnia' series.
The Hound of Death and Other Stories
By Agatha Christie
First edition, first impression (Odhams Press Limited, 1933).
Publisher's original red cloth with black lettering to spine. A little faint marking to upper board and foxing to edges, near fine otherwise and free from previous owner names and inscriptions in a better than very good dust jacket with a couple of inconspicuous closed tears to top edge of upper panel and to spine foot; some rubbing in places and shallow chipping to corners. An excellent copy.
