Tiny crease to bottom corner of page 319 and very slight evidence of pushing to spine ends, else beautifully clean and sharp, in the original and unclipped dust jacket showing extremely mild instances of wear to spine head. A lovely, very near fine copy.

Quarter-bound in cream cloth with black boards. Toning to edges with a chip to fore-edge of opening page of Chapter One and small closed tear to fore-edge of pages 5-9. Free from previous owner names and inscriptions. The original and unclipped dust jacket is slightly smaller than the book, suggesting that it may have been trimmed; moderate rubbing and chipping in places with a tear to spine foot and to lower panel fore-edge, but still a very good copy overall.
