The Rachel Papers
By Martin Amis
Light foxing to edges with faint spotting to endpapers, else fine. Original and unclipped dust jacket has the usual fading to the spine panel, but far less severe than usual; small closed tear to bottom of rear panel; corners rubbed with a nick to bottom corner of front panel; general wear/rubbing to extremities. A great, signed copy of the author's first novel.
The Day of the Triffids
By John Wyndham
First Edition, First Impression (Michael Joseph 1951). Contemporary previous owner's inscription to front paste-down, which is covered by dust jacket; corners of front board lightly bumped; light toning to edges. Corners of original and unclipped dust jacket are rubbed with a little loss, a couple of tears to top and bottom of hinges of front and rear panels; marks to top and bottom of rear panel and minor loss to spine tips. A very good copy of a science fiction classic.
