Original red cloth with black lettering to spine. A couple of moderate knocks to top corners and spotting to edges. Subtle traces of page remnants present following copyright page. All pages are present, however, indicating that this is an uncommon feature of its original production. The original and unclipped dust jacket has a little peripheral toning to upper and lower panels and to spine panel with traces of moderate edge wear, shallow chipping and a couple of small nicks.

A very good example of the author’s first novel issued, in the case of this first UK edition, five years prior to the first appearance of ‘Dune’ in book form.
