Use of Weapons
By Iain M. Banks
First edition, first impression (Orbit, 1990). Signed by the author to the title page. Original publisher's black cloth with gold lettering to spine. Small mark to lower board with a couple of inconspicuous indentations, slightest hint of a spine slant; boards and contents lovely and clean otherwise and free from inscriptions. The original and unclipped dust jacket has just minor traces of edge wear. A near fine copy of the third novel in the Culture series. Uncommon signed.
The Acceptance World
By Anthony Powell
First Edition, First Impression (Heinemann, 1955). Presentation inscription by the author to front endpaper dated March 1973. Spine tips and corners rubbed; marks to boards at front and rear; spine slightly darkened; edges toned; binding cracked at front and rear, but all pages still firmly adhered. Original and unclipped dust jacket has a neat tape repair to verso; light soiling to parts of rear panel and a couple of small closed tears to the top.
