Original and unclipped dust jacket has a closed tear to bottom edge of front panel and to top edge of rear; some creasing to front flap with one crease to rear flap. Small chip to top of spine panel; a little wear to extremities. A very good copy of the author’s tenth novel, which is hard to find with her signature.

8vo, publisher's beige cloth, front cover and spine stamped in black and orange; spine darkened with signs of minor insect damage; corners bumped; dust jacket, price-clipped with a little soiling to rear panel and closed tear to front panel; spine panel and folds tanned with some edge-wear. A very good copy.

Beautifully bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe in green crushed morocco with gilt edges and attractive gilt motifs to spine and upper board.
A fine copy with a little sunning to spine, as is common, in a fine slipcase.
