Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Second Impression 1999)
By J. K. Rowling
Second impression, issued in the same year as the first.
The third Harry Potter novel, the book in which Rowling’s series markedly darkens in tone and scope— featuring the first appearance of Sirius Black, the Dementors, and the legend of the Marauder’s Map. The novel won the Whitbread Children’s Book Award and further established the series as a defining literary phenomenon of its generation.
Octavo. Original pictorial boards and pictorial dust jacket illustrated by Cliff Wright and priced £10.99.
Very good with some toning and a few isolated and faint spots to edges; slight lean; internally clean and unmarked. In the near fine and unclipped dust jacket. A couple of mild instances of creasing to top edge; colours remain bright, save for a little fading to the spine panel. No tears or loss.
