First edition, first impression: Stroud, Gloucestershire: The History Press, 2015. Signed, Inscribed and dated by the the author (Alan Turing's nephew) to half-title.

 

Original black cloth, spine lettered in white. Some pushing to spine ends and very faint and minor traces of rubbing in places, else near fine and extremely clean internally.

 

The dust jacket is likewise in near fine condition, with only the lightest handling wear at the extremities and no tears or loss; colours strong and unfaded. Not price-clipped.

 

Inscribed by the author on the half-title: “For Catherine, with best wishes”, signed by Dermot Turing and dated 30 June 2016, with a place note beneath.

 

A handsome signed copy of this important modern biography by Alan Turing’s nephew, offering a lucid and corrective account of Turing’s life and work.
