Stephen King “Revival” signed first edition hardcover with dust jacket, Scribner.

Revival - Signed First Edition by Stephen King

Revival

By Stephen King

First edition, first impression: New York: Scribner, 2014. Signed by the author to the title page.

Octavo. Original black cloth spine lettered in silver over dark blue boards. With the original pictorial dust jacket designed by Tal Goretsky, priced $30.00 to the front flap, and retaining the “Book People Signed Edition” sticker to the front panel.

A near-fine copy. The binding square and firm, with slight bruising to the corners of the lower board; boards clean and bright, save for a small and faint mark to top edge of upper board. Internally fresh and unmarked, the text block clean and untoned.

The dust jacket near-fine, with moderate edge wear at the spine ends; otherwise clean and well-preserved, the colours vivid. Not price-clipped.

Revival marked a pronounced return to metaphysical and cosmic horror in King’s later career, its dark theological reach and mounting dread recalling the tradition of modern weird fiction. Signed first impressions are increasingly sought-after as representative of King’s late-period resurgence in uncompromising horror.
