    Goldfinger

    , ,
Goldfinger By Ian Fleming First edition, first impression. The seventh novel in the James Bond series and the basis for the popular third film released in 1964. Cover art by Richard Chopping. Original black cloth with lettering to spine in gilt and embossed skull to upper board with gold coins in the eye sockets. A very good copy indeed with a little spotting to edges and to front and rear endpapers and paste-downs. Small area of tape residue to front and, far less conspicuously, rear paste-down. Contents beautifully clean otherwise and free from names or inscriptions. The original and unclipped dust jacket is unusually bright with none of the often seen toning to the spine panel. A few tape marks to verso and mild traces of wear to top edge, otherwise excellent.

    On Her Majesty’s Secret Service

    , ,
On Her Majesty's Secret Service By Ian Fleming First edition, first impression (Jonathan Cape, 1963). Publisher's original black cloth with lettering to spine in gilt. A little spotting to top edge, but a lovely and clean near fine book otherwise, in a near fine and unclipped dust jacket with just a hint of rubbing in places to extremities and a little toning to spine panel. An excellent example.

    You Only Live Twice

    , ,
You Only Live Twice By Ian Fleming First edition, first impression and first state with 'First published 1964' to copyright page. Original black cloth with Japanese lettering to upper board in gilt and in English to spine in silver with bamboo patterned endpapers and paste-downs. Light traces of off-setting to endpapers, else near fine and beautifully clean and sharp throughout. The original and unclipped dust jacket has a couple of isolated spots to verso and very shallow chips to corners with a couple of minuscule nicks to spine tips, otherwise an excellent, near fine example. Jacket design by Richard Chopping.
