One of 1500 copies to be signed and numbered by designer Frederic Warde, of which this is number 1011. Head and foot of spine a little rubbed; light foxing and marginal browning to front pastedown with very faint foxing to endpaper and to rear pastedown. Illustrated frontispiece and title-vignette with several in-text illustrations; all edges gilt; original red morocco gilt. An excellent, near fine example.
