Original blind-stamped cloth; light marginal toning; endpapers renewed; spine very neatly restrengthened; some fading to boards and spine; moderate bumping to corners and top edge.

    The Code of the Woosters By P. G. Wodehouse First edition, first impression (Herbert Jenkins, 1938) in a second issue dust jacket. Book has a very slight lean with some browning to spine; boards still nice and clean with no signs of bumping; spine foot a little rubbed with light foxing to edges; offsetting to front and rear endpapers with stamp to front; brief inscription to front pastedown; foxing to preliminaries and to final few pages. A very good example nonetheless. The unclipped second issue dust jacket has a little loss to spine panel price and to head and foot; fore-edges rubbed and abraded in places; a few chips to front and rear panels with some general wear to extremities - Good.
