Signed by the author to a bookplate affixed to the title page, accompanied by the cut signature of the illustrator. Publisher's original blue cloth with lettering to spine in gilt. A couple of marks to pages 26 and 27, otherwise clean internally and free from names and inscriptions, with extremely faint traces of spotting to fore-edge. The original and unclipped dust jacket has a tear to head of upper panel fore-edge and to the top edge of lower panel with a small nick to head of lower panel fore-edge. Some isolated and light instances of rubbing with associated creasing in a couple of places to edges. A very good copy indeed, bearing the signatures of both the author and illustrator.£625.00 -
