The Simpsons has inspired a number of other animated sitcom TV series and is the longest-running American animated series, longest-running American sitcom, and the longest-running American scripted primetime television series. It was also the subject of a successful film adaptation in 2007 and has given rise to a number of comic book series and video games. Original red cloth with lettering to spine and upper board in white with Simpson character motifs to upper and lower boards in yellow. Pictorial endpapers and paste-downs with yellow ribbon marker, housed in an attractive slipcase. A pristine, fine example in a fine slipcase, still covered in its original cellophane. A touch of rubbing to spine foot and spotting to lower panel fore-edge, near fine otherwise. A very good set indeed.£150.00 -
