A few small and unobtrusive marks to upper board with a contemporary gift inscription to front endpaper, a little dustiness to top edge, near fine otherwise in the original and unclipped dust jacket, complete with the red wraparound band. Small area of abrasion to top corner of lower panel and a hint of fading to bottom portion of spine panel; minor and occasional traces of edge wear; crease to rear flap; a few tears to wraparound band. An excellent, near fine copy overall. Uncommon with the band.
