Original black cloth with lettering to spine in gilt and embossed skull to upper board with gold coins in the eye sockets. A very good copy indeed with a little spotting to edges and to front and rear endpapers and paste-downs. Small area of tape residue to front and, far less conspicuously, rear paste-down. Contents beautifully clean otherwise and free from names or inscriptions.
The original and unclipped dust jacket is unusually bright with none of the often seen toning to the spine panel. A few tape marks to verso and mild traces of wear to top edge, otherwise excellent.

Original light brown cloth with lettering to spine in gilt. Some offsetting to endpapers, but otherwise fine and clean throughout. The original and unclipped dust jacket, with striking cover art by Edward Pagram, shows a minimal amount of rubbing to extremities in places, else fine.
