A little fading to board edges; some compression and rubbing to spine tips; some foxing to preliminaries and to bottom edge; offsetting to front and rear endpapers; all plates present with one becoming slightly loose; small stamp to rear pastedown.
The original dust jacket has some loss to head and foot with some creasing and chipping to extremities; corners chipped with slight browning to spine panel and a red stain to upper panel. Very rare in the original dust jacket.
