Love, Bernard Cornwell’. A uniquely personal inscription. Publisher’s original red boards with gilt lettering to spine. Some pushing to spine ends with a couple of trivial knocks to corners; a little spotting to edges and dustiness to top edge, but better than very good. The original and unclipped dust jacket has some very moderate edge wear and a touch of fading to the spine panel. A very nicely preserved copy of the fourth novel in the Sharpe series, bearing a unique inscription from the author.

Free from any internal marks, bookplates, previous owner names and inscriptions, The original and unclipped dust jacket has some areas lifting to laminate on upper and lower panel hinges, but laminate remains completely intact and unbroken. A touch of rubbing to spine foot and spotting to lower panel fore-edge, near fine otherwise. A very good set indeed.
