Contents nice and clean, as are front and rear covers with just a few very small, unobtrusive and isolated indentations, mainly to the front; mild soiling to top edge. A very attractive and well-preserved binding.

Half-bound in red morocco with raised bands, gilt ruled compartments and blind tooling to the leather with head & tail bands and titled with gilt lettering on black. The odd spot here and there, primarily to bottom corner of front endpaper and half-title; some soft creases to corners of opening pages; a few isolated spots to fore-edge of text block with a little toning and darkening to top edge. Contents and boards are clean otherwise, with no owner names or inscriptions. A very good copy in an attractive binding.
