The recipient, David Baldock, worked for Forbidden Planet in London for a number of years and was well-known to author's that attended book launches there during the 1970s until the early 1990s. Original black cloth with lettering to spine in gilt. Small area of compression to spine foot, else fine, in the fine, original and unclipped dust jacket with a tiny abraded spot to spine head.
