A Thin Ghost and Others
By M. R. James
First edition, first impression (London: Edward Arnold, 1919).
Publisher's original dark grey cloth with light grey lettering to spine and spider's web motif, title and author's name in grey to upper board. Owner's name in ink to title page with light browning to endpapers and half-title; mild bumping and rubbing to corners and extremities; top edge a little darkened; some minor cracking to binding at page 16, but all pages still holding firm.
A very good copy indeed of the author's scarce third collection of ghost stories.
