Original red cloth with lettering to spine in gilt. Some off-setting to endpapers and some spotting to top edge and fore-edge with a couple of instances of compression to spine tips, otherwise excellent.
The original and unclipped dust jacket has some moderate edge wear, primarily to the top, and a small nick to bottom corner of lower panel and half-way down the lower panel spine hinge. Some toning to spine panel and verso, better than very good otherwise.

The original and unclipped dust jacket is slightly smaller than the book, suggesting that it may have been trimmed; moderate rubbing and chipping in places with a tear to spine foot and to lower panel fore-edge, but still a very good copy overall.
