Original black cloth with lettering to spine and author’s signature to upper board in gilt with red endpapers and paste-downs. A near fine copy with extremely faint spotting to top edge and a few isolated instances of rubbing to edges.
The original and unclipped dust jacket has a tear to the spine panel foot with an associated tape repair to verso. Spine panel verso a little toned. Slight hint of fading to spine panel red lettering, otherwise excellent.

A very good copy indeed of the author's scarce third collection of ghost stories.

The original dust jacket is also in fine and bright condition with just the slightest trace of wear to spine tips and a minuscule chip to bottom corner of upper panel and original retailer sticker to lower panel.
