Top edges gilt. Engraved frontispieces with numerous engraved plates and tissue-guards. Toning to edges with spotting to preliminaries and rear endpapers. Occasional browning. Rubbing to spine ends, hinges and all extremities. Vol 1 lacking frontispiece tissue-guard, but all others are present.
