    Light in August

    , ,
Light in August By William Faulkner First edition, first impression. A 20th century literary highlight and one of the author's most highly regarded works. Original cloth with blue lettering to spine and orange lettering to upper board. A near fine book with traces of off-setting to endpapers, very slight knocking to corners and toning to edges, excellent otherwise with the orange top-stain remaining bright and nicely preserved. The original and unclipped dust jacket has some chipping and areas of minor loss with a few small nicks and tears to the extremities. A little rubbing in places to fore-edge and upper panel, but otherwise a good or better example.
